I always wanted a 61 , had it trailered from calgary, did the bodywork and paint ,pulled the 6 cyl. and pg installed a 275 hp/327/4 spd.That lasted one year as I found a 348 .The 348 is in and hope to fire it up this week.
Your car looks amazing. Dad had a '61 batwing Strato Chief, midnight blue like your's Greg. Nothing looks as cool as the 348/409 valve covers. It was great meeting you last Sunday. Hope to see the bubble top in person this summer.
Well Ray if Iget it running, put around 1200 miles on car last summer,and by the way i,m also known as gregory on the poncho site,thought it was time to change the handle my mother gave me.
Can we say you are looking for the one year Canadian only V8 fender emblems ? Maybe someone here has them. BTW never say IF I get it running, it is WHEN I get it running

I;ll get it running,I hope soon but with christmas coming it may be in the new year. and yes I need the small front fender emblems that show it is a v8 car.I;m pretty sure they were only 1961 but I've seen some pictures of 62s with an emblem very similar ,maybe early 62s.
I;m pretty sure to but I,ve seen two different ones on 62s. When I look for 62 pontiac parisiennes on internet a couple had what looked like the 61s. thats what maid me think possibly some early 62s were like 61. Iguess they are scarce.
